Maya graduated with her Bachelors of Science in Physics from American University in May 2018 and her Ph.D. in Physics and Astronomy from the University of Glasgow in 2023. Some of her earliest memories are of art classes and after school programs, which continued throughout her middle and high school years. She finds that art perfectly balances her work in Physics, and plans to continue to pursue both.
